  • People go through traumatic experiences, but it doesn’t have to define them. In order for this movement to take place we must agitate the stagnation of mere awareness and information, of being trauma-informed, to allow the flow of transformative action and implementation. This requires an investigation of the soul–mind, will and emotions– and the work it takes to shift from “What happened to you?” to “What can you do?” One of the key goals of this workshop is to shift the focus from dwelling on past traumatic experiences to empowering participants to take control of their present and future.

We will explore practical strategies and techniques to cultivate a mindset of growth, resilience, and self-empowerment. Through interactive discussions and introspective exercises, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the intricate connection between the mind, will, and emotions through Soul Work– a healthy unsettling followed by a shift to safety of our inner world. Thus, the aim of disrupting the trauma narrative is to uproot shame, increase self-awareness and realign with the truth of who we are.

By identifying the dysfunctional mindsets, behaviors and habits stunting our growth and developing strategies to combat them, we can move from the shame of our past to reclaiming our voice with authenticity. Join us in this transformative workshop as we embark on a journey to interrupt the chronicles of trauma, liberate ourselves from the bondage of the past, and embrace a future filled with empowerment and resilience.

    Learning Objectives:

    1. Participants will be guided in uncovering the root causes of shame and learn powerful techniques to release it, paving the way for personal healing and growth.
    2. Participants will learn to interpret the difference between fact and truth to produce self-awareness, in themselves and/or those whom they serve.
    3. Participants will gain tools to become the authority of their story and reclaim their authentic voice.
