While it is not a mental health disorder, it is a profound form of suffering; research has found that when moral injury is not identified and addressed alongside or even within therapy, it can negatively impact successful outcomes in mental health treatments for PTSD.  Learn what moral injury is, the differences from trauma and PTSD, and how to determine if someone might be experiencing it.
