    Continuing Education Credits for Supervision are $30.00 per hour.

    In this course we will review the laws pertaining to supervision and requirements for LCSW supervision of Kentucky Social Workers Supervisor Renewal Requirement per 201 KAR 23:075 Section 3 (1) and 201 KAR 23:070 Section 3 (1) (c) 2 (valid until June 2015). We will review the appropriate forms to use regarding supervision as found at http://bsw.ky.gov/forms/pages/superforms.aspx.  Models and methods of supervision will be discussed as well as ethical decision-making that can be involved for the supervisor. Objectives: Have increased knowledge of the guidelines of the laws for the provision of supervision for Social Workers as provided by201 KAR 23:070. Understand the supervisor/supervisee relationship and be able to appropriately complete a supervision contract. Understand how the Supervisor must consider and be guided in decision-making by the Kentucky Social Work Code of Ethics. Consider models of supervision and the benefits for the learning of the supervised Social Worker.
    CEU approval source:  KY Board of Social Work Continuing education provider number KBSW2014053. Successful completion of this offering includes attending the entire offering and completion of evaluation. If you arrive late or leave early continuing education provider does not constitute endorsement of program content. 3 hours credit approval per session.
