  • Interested in a career helping others? The Kentucky Family Leadership Academy is a three-day training prerequisite to family and youth peer support certifications, where consumers with lived experience instill hope and help other consumers find their own path to recovery. The Leadership Academy will enable you to strengthen your own leadership skills, become more comfortable sharing your story, increase your ability to a become leader in your community, and contribute to fostering a “family-driven” and “youth-guided” system of care. Core areas of focus include: 

    • Leadership Roles
    • Communication Skills
    • Decision Making
    • Dealing with Conflict
    • Effective Advocacy
    • Partnership and Collaboration
